Our First Year in Review

Wednesday evening marks the start of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Here at The Jerusalem Herald, we wanted to take the opportunity to wish a happy new year to our readers, and to look back at the end of our first year since launching several months ago.

We’ve been active on Facebook and Twitter to allow easy access to our articles, which have delved deeply into a variety of issues facing Israel that the mainstream media has largely ignored or played down.

Right now we're in the middle of our exclusive coverage of an upcoming conference discussing "The Jordan Option," which opens the public discourse to the concept of a “Palestinian” state outside of the Land of Israel.

We broke the story on a major court victory over the BDS movement in the US in an exclusive interview with Marc Zell, the vice president of Republicans Overseas.

Likewise The Jerusalem Herald unflinchingly explored the political threat posed by Israel’s Arab citizens, analyzed high-profile terror attacks, and ran unique interviews including those exposing the reality of Arab life under the Palestinian Authority.

We revealed the mechanism of media bias against Israel in the world media with a unique insider look, the troubling change at Yad Vashem implemented during the Holocaust museum’s renovation, and the denial of the Yemenite children affair.

Undaunted by figures of power, we analyzed how Israeli President Reuven Rivlin honored a comforter of terrorists, how the government has abandoned Jerusalem, how the party purporting to represent the religious Zionist movement in the government has waffled on both its religious and Zionist leanings, and political maneuvers on the left.
